Established in 1999 in response to the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic in Latin America and the Caribbean, the New York Link Leadership Summit offers participants an opportunity to form partnerships with community-based organizations (CBOs) and health care providers in NYC and their counterparts in other countries to exchange innovative, evidence-based strategies for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care.

With a focus on human rights, improving health systems and increasing access to services for key affected populations (KAPs) such as MSM, sex workers and persons of transgender experience, the Leadership Summit aims to build skills, increase knowledge and instill confidence in healthcare professionals through a three-day exchange of resources, technology and best practices.
