Increasing Access to Sexual Health Services in Schools and Communities

As a national capacity building center for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Division of Adolescent School Health (CDC-DASH), CAI provides capacity building assistance (CBA) to funded Local Education Agencies (LEA) to implement referral systems and improve access to youth friendly sexual health services (SHS). CAI combines multiple strategies to address LEA needs that include: tailored and individualized professional development, web-based learning, content-specific webinars, expert and peer-to-peer coaching, collaborative learning experiences, cluster training, and electronic dissemination of resources and tools.

The project is led by Dawn Middleton and Amanda Brown with additional support from our instructional design and web-based learning, communications and monitoring and evaluation teams.
