CAI’s Training Center for Early Childhood and Family Development builds the capacity of early childhood service providers, with particular focus on those working with low-income and at-risk children. By incorporating an intimate and ever-evolving understanding of childhood learning and development, CAI trainings help adult service providers create and sustain a dynamic environment in which children may grow, develop, and learn.
Working with a diverse group of experts who assist in the planning and delivery of educational programs, CAI trains early childhood workers, parents, and professionals, equipping them with the insights, knowledge and tools to support well-being, healthy growth, and active learning. Conferences, retreats and workshops focus on critical social issues affecting children and explore and plan avenues for effective action. CAI-delivered technical assistance is also available to build capacity with respect to program management, planning, supervision, fundraising, evaluation, and other skills needed by early childhood leaders.
